Mayflower Seafood Roanoke Rapids is located at 1330 Julian R. Allsbrook Highway. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. At Mayflower, you can start your meal with a fried appetizer like fries, onion rings, or even a blooming onion. Don’t forget to try a bowl of their tasty oyster stew if you don’t want a fried starter.
Mayflower offers some sandwiches, most of which are seafood based. The broiled specials are the go-to menu items. Pick from one of two platters. The first one includes flounder, Alaskan white fish, oysters, jumbo shrimp, scallops, and deviled crab, while the second includes the flounder, baby shrimp, oysters, scallops, and stuffed deviled crab. Ralph’s BBQ is located at 1400 Julian R. Allsbrook Highway and is open every day from 11 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Ralph’s makes their barbecue fresh every day from high-quality USDA pork in the traditional North Carolina style. There are a variety of dinner options to choose from here. You can get pulled pork, chopped pork BBQ, pork ribs that are made in the St. Louis style, or fried or baked chicken.
Ralph’s even offers a combo plate where you can choose two or three of these options so you don’t miss out on anything. Most of these items can be made as a sandwich if that’s more your style.
